Formation of W20

W20 was formed by the G20 as their official gender advisory group made up of all 19 countries in the G20 nations and the European Union. Delegates are officially appointed and in unpaid roles to give freely of their expertise and advise on a number of topics. They do not work for Governments. They comprise of enterpreneurs, business heads, educational researchers, and civil society representatives.

What We Do

Advise the G20 governments and organisations on how to advance economic empowerment of women and grow their economies

Run initiatives to progress our aims within each Country

Building feminist leadership internationally

Advocate equality within our own countries

Run events to improve knowledge of the need for equality
